(A loose article full of complaint)
What does Bank of America (BOA) mean to me? Unprofessional, lack of trust, and poor service!
For the first time I opened an account in America, I went to BOA cause it is the biggest and most popular bank (ATM equipped everywhere in the US). I have no doubt and leave no considerations to other banks where I will deposit my money during the years in the US. BOA is supposed to function very well and provide friendly service. The truth is-- it has NEVER been the case for me.
I opened my account on Sept. 5 when Bruce came with me. It was George served us. On that day I was so nervous and hardly understood the banker's explanation on the types of account. At the beginning, I wanted to open both checking and saving accounts but I did merely open a checking account eventually. (Basically, it was my problem to make this disappointment.)
The next time I went to BOA because I failed to login the online service and my account were locked. (Again, this was my fault.) So, I went to ask for help and open a saving account. This time the other man called Matthew served me. He helped to unlock my online service and told me that George should set many items to be free for me but he did not. (There are some benefits for student applicant.) Matt helped to open a saving account and made some setting that I am supposed to have. (till now, every thing looks fine) I continued to ask for more information regarding to the bank code such as ABA, swift code, and routing code. (These codes are used when you want to send money out and someone else send money in your account.) He simply gave me the wrong code and misled me the usage of each code. (I am sure it was not my poor English making this misunderstanding. I got his handwriting note as evidence.)
After that, I went home and waited for my debit card. Since I deposit most of my money in BOA, I certainly need the card to use my money or take it out. I keep checking my mailbox twice a day, in the morning and evening. NOTHING received. One friend received her card in 3 days; others took no longer than one week. It has been 8 days passed. I decided to make a phone call to make sure if my card is on its way. A man answered and simply wanted me to wait and wait. Do not call unless 14 days passing and I still haven't got my card.
Not until my checking online yesterday, shall I go on to check my mailbox. You know what? George did not input my address correctly (room number) on their system. Why shall I waste my time and keep waiting for your damn card? I truly wondered!

Without a room number, how could it be possible for me to receive the card?
